Gutter Cleaning
100% Free Estimates
Gutter cleaning estimates are always FREE and come with zero obligations to have any work performed. Normal quotes can be completed within 24 hours of your request and most within hours. You are not required to be home for the quotation process. We will typically take a quick drive by the service address, walk around the exterior of the home or business to acquire the appropriate information and then email the quote to you shortly after. In some cases, we will quote the job request by viewing the service address online. Appointments can be arranged around our customer’s schedule, but for the quickest service, we do recommend allowing us to work on our schedule. All of the work performed for gutter cleaning is outside and you do not necessarily need to be home for the actual service.
Service Options
Our team will clean your gutters by hand and make sure that all of your clogs are cleared. We do this by bagging all of the leaves and debris from the troughs and snaking your downspouts where necessary to make sure that all of the upper elbows are cleared of clogs. This will allow rain water to flow freely and divert away from the home. We do not use pressure washers to complete this process, as this can create damage and be very messy. Pictures of your clean gutters can be provided upon request. If no one will be scheduled home for your gutter cleaning service, the team will leave a small job summary sheet at your front door upon completion.
Our service is 100% guaranteed and your satisfaction is our #1 goal!
Our 3 Gutter Cleaning Service Options are listed as follows:
STANDARD Gutter & Downspout Cleaning
Stubborn clogs may require the use of a downspout snake or dis-assembly of the downspout elbow itself. We do not charge extra for this, as many companies do.
Our service area is from roof to ground level. If you feel that you may have an issue in buried drain tile that is below ground, we’ll be happy to take a look, but will typically recommend that you call a landscaper. Any debris that is pulled from your gutters will be bagged.
Unfortunately it is not physically possible for us to take everyone’s gutter debris with us, but we are happy to dispose of it in a designated trash receptacle. If there is no visible trash receptacle, the team will leave the bagged debris in a logical spot near your garage for your trash service.
PREMIUM Gutter & Downspout Cleaning with Water Flush and Roof Sweep
*Roof & Valley Sweep – Leaves, sticks, and debris will be removed from the roof and all valleys (limited to roofs that can be walked).
Gutter Cleaning with Gutter Guards
In this case, the gutter guards are not typically reinstalled, as they have not performed properly anyway. Most guards are not designed to be removed and reinstalled, as they are typically screwed down all around the home and many times become bent or misshaped upon removal.
Please let us know if you have gutter guards installed, as there is a chance that we would need to re-quote your service in this instance. There are many cases where we can just remove the debris that sits on the tops of the gutter guards, as long as your system is functioning properly otherwise.
When Gutters Fail
When your gutters are not functioning properly, there are a number of issues that may arise.
- Foundation issues
- Water leakage behind siding and into windows and sills
- Damage of decking boards including fading, staining, and premature rotting
- Flooding of walkways and landscaping
- Breeding grounds for many types of insects and bugs
- Freezing hazard in cold temperatures
- Ice damming
Typical gutter cleanings occur twice a year, once in the Spring, prior to the heavy Spring storms and once before Winter, prior to the hard freeze. Some homes that are in heavily wooded areas may need to be cleaned more often in order to keep the gutter system functioning properly. While gutter cleaning may seem like an expense that does not give much satisfaction, it’s very important to protecting the integrity of your gutters, roof, landscaping and foundation.
A clogged gutter means that your gutters aren’t doing what they’re intended to do…collect and reroute runoff water away from your home and foundation. When leaves and debris pile up in your gutters, water is obstructed and damage can occur. Water that pours over the gutters at roof level is a sure sign of obstruction. In the winter, when leaves and debris are allowed to freeze in the gutters, damage may occur. These are just a few reasons that maintaining your gutter system is crucial to maintaining the integrity of your home.
